Officer Adam Clark and Deputy Mike SeveranceOfficer of the Month for March 2009Officer Adam Clark of the Madison Township police Department responded to a report of a house on fire, and at the risk of his own life, entered the residence and carried to safety a handicapped female. For his heroic actions he is receiving the FOPA Officer of the Month Award. Deputy Mike Severance of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office was named the “FOPA Officer of the Month†for the month of March 2009 for his continuous service to the citizens of Franklin county as a canine handler. Deputy Severance is a 36 year veteran and works very closely volunteering a lot of his time for various FOP and law enforcement functions throughout the State of Ohio.
