Worthington Police Detective Emily MowryOfficer of the Week for April 29, 2007Worthington Police Detective Emily Mowry On March 4th at approximately 10:00am, Detective Emily Mowry stopped in the Worthington Public Library and observed an older male acting suspicious. The male was observed by Detective Mowry constantly looking around and staring at other female customers, including one pushing a stroller. The Detective covertly watched the male who then began to fondle himself and appeared to be masturbate while trying to conceal his actions with his coat. The man continued to walk around the book area and peer at several women through the books while he masturbated. The male was quickly approached and arrested for an on-view public indecency in a public library. It was later learned that the male was a school bus driver who had just finished dropping kids off earlier that morning. Due to the keen observations of Detective Mowry a sexual predator was caught in the act and for that we are pleased to name her our "Officer of the Week" Officer of the Week Archive | |||||||
