Columbus Police Officers Steven Hungler and Kenneth CoontzOfficer of the Week for May 20, 2007Columbus Police Detective David McKee On April 18, 2007 Columbus Police Officers arrested a male suspect, he was a possible suspect in the Ohio State Campus Crime Alert involving several robberies and a rape of a young woman. At headquarters he was interviewed by Sexual Assault unit Detective David McKee. Through his highly skilled and professional investigative technique, Detective McKee was able to break down the suspect's lies and find out the truth about the incidents. Detective McKee was very thorough and his deliberate questioning led to a complete confession by the suspect. An officer who observed the interview stated "Detective McKee's interview techniques are the best I have ever seen" Thanks to Detective McKee's highly skilled interview techniques, a dangerous Rape and Robbery suspect is off the Campus area streets.
