Columbus Police Officer Keith ConnerOfficer of the Week for June 3, 2007Columbus Police Officer Keith Conner On April 30, 2007 Columbus Police Officer Keith Conner was working patrol when he was dispatched to assist with a fire at 5341 N. High St. The five story building was fully engulfed upon his arrival. Officer Conner, putting his own life in peril assisted a resident who was attempting to escape down the side of the building. Officer Conner was able to bring this resident to safety. Officer Conner did suffer from smoke inhalation and was subsequently transported to Riverside Hospital. Due to Officer Conner's heroic efforts this resident was removed from harm's way. We are proud to nominate Officer Keith Conner of the Columbus Police Department our "Officer to the Week".
