Officer Vic Boyd
On July 16, 2007
Officer Vic Boyd of the Madison Township Police Department conducted a
traffic stop in the area of Radell Rd and Tremaine Road. The driver was
not forthcoming with his information, and claimed that he had been the
victim of identity theft. Officer Boyd could not verify the driver's
identity and his instincts indicated that the something was not right with
the driver's story. Officer Boyd transported the male to the Franklin
County Records Bureau for identification. It was then revealed that this
suspect was not a victim but rather a wanted felon. Due to the hard work
and probing investigation into this driver's identity, a wanted felon is
off the streets. We are proud to name Officer Vic Boyd of the Madison
Township Police Department our "Officer of the Week"
